I guess a 16-8 record with a 3.70 era in 233.1 innings in 1998 and 21-10 record with a 3.58 era in 246.1 innings just isn't any good, at least according to hembo.
Hembo, just once, could you support just one of your statements with just one fact? Most of your statements are just made up.

Are you really unaware of the difference between was and is? Exactly, Chandler --- well put. This board often gets trapped in Lately Lately Land. Players are the antithesis of Peter Pan. They are never young. They are trapped forever in the here and now with their entire career value predicated on what they have done for the fans lately. ~Crash

Jose Lima qualifies for "good" for 2 seasons. It just isnt that hard. It doesnt matter how long. He was good for 2 seasons, period. No one said anything different.

actually, Lima was an also ran reliever for the Tigers and us....then he became a starter for us and won 20 games...I couldnt believe it....then we moved out of the Dome, and as quickly as he turned good, he reverted to his old suck self...and ...well thats the way it goes.
