He had a good start. But lets be fair... It was the freaking Pittsburgh Pirates.
I wouldnt say he is back. Lets see him do it over the long haul against the better offenses in the American League.

97 mph, that has no bearing on the opponent.

97 MPH ?? And?? Just throwing that hard means nothing without movement.
Vega.. I have no doubt this guy has great talent. But so did Mark Prior. He was called " The Chosen One". Where is he now?
Felix hasnt yet dont squat at the MLB level.

done squat? ? well, of course, he is NOT an Astros. You say Scott is an all star and King Felix has done squat? hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

hhmmm?? I never said Scott IS an All Star. I said I thought he could be. But what the hell does Luke Scott have to do with Felix Hernandez?
Felix isnt an All Star and hasnt done squat. Look at his stats.
My main point is I think it is silly to call him "King" Felix. Unless of course it is some kind of hispanic thing I am not aware of. He has alot of potential, but he hasnt arrived yet. If you cant see that, then you are being silly.

look at his age, lol
And yes, for his age HE HAS ARRIVED.
I don't expect you to understand that, really.

You dont expect me to understand it because you cant explain it. I said he had talent and potential. But beyond that, he hasnt arrived, meaning, he isnt a dominant force in MLB like Oswalt, Santana, Peavy etc etc ....

what you don't understand is that 20/21 years old doing what he IS DOING is GREAT. Can you tell me where was Peavy and Oswalt at 20 years old? And the numbers? ?? By the way, i REMEMBER last year saying that Peavy was better than Oswalt and of course, YOU DISAGREE making ABOUT THE SAME ARGUMENT as you are doing RIGHT NOW.

I will ask again... what does age have to do with it?? A pitcher whether he is 21 or 41 has to take the mound every 5th day. Results are what matters. You like this guy so you will spin his stats to make your argument.
Peavy is a great pitcher. He is having a tremendous year pitching in a pitchers park where he has pitched his whole career. Peavy is having a better year this year, but over their careers I said Oswalt was better last year and I will say it again.. Oswalt is better, alot better. Oswalt's career ERA+ is 141 and Peavy's is 119. Thanks to Gallo I know have knowledge of a new stat. That stat shows Oswalt is alot better.
But it doesnt matter Vega... you will never admit it when you are wrong. On Oswalt vs Peavy, you are wrong. You may be right about Felix, but you arent yet.

Of course i am wrong about Oswalt, lol, he is an astros so he is a Hall of Famer in your eyes, but Peavy IS BETTER.

I gave you the stat Vega. Peavy pitches in a pitchers park, Oswalt in a bandbox.
Of course Peavy is better in your eyes.... Oswalt is an Astro and I think he is better. No Astro can be better than anyone else and especially if I think they are.
See how that works?
Try this... explain the HUGE difference in ERA+ ... Just answer that.

Who gives a sh*t about King Felix. Nice job, AB, of once again trying to bait Vega so you can whine about him starting something. I don't think it will work this time because most people see through your attempts to bait Vega into another argument.

LMAO. He can bait me and reference me in every post. But when I do it I am evil and just trying to stir up trouble. I see how that works.
JB... Vega and I have a debate going about Felix. Whats the big deal. Its back and forth. I didnt call him any names or insult him. I posted info on Felix's last start. He does it all the time. Why cant I?
As Coach has said to me which I am sure applies to everyone else, including you.... Mind your own business.

AB, haven't you figured out by now that I always mind my own business. You should also remember that I also follow your advise every chance I get.
