We had a 7-3 lead after 8. Garner pulls Sampson and brings in White who gives up hits to the first two batters. Wheeler comes in and gives up a two-run single to Sosa, Catalanotta follows with a two-run homer and the game is tied at 7. Great job by the Astros bullpen!! What used to be our strength is now the weak link. Rick White has to go. Wheeler sucks.

Wheeler has given up THREE f**kin' home runs in less than two innings.

Wheeler needs to quit thinking he's a power pitcher; he's a finesse pitcher, a painter. He's trying to be Lidge out there, and he's no Lidge.
CRAP!

Less than an Inning actually.
This all rests on Draytons shoulders. Its time to burn it down and start over. Keep Berkman, Lee, Oswalt, Pence and Sampson and make everyone else available. Restock the farm and hell, I would even listen to offers for Lee and Oswalt. Contenders will overpay for a difference maker.

I would listen to offers for Lee but Oswalt stays.
I was watching to see if Sampson tried to console Wheeler again.....no such luck. I was hoping Wheeler would push him again and Sampson would deck the a$$h*le.

Berkman and Sampson arent either. Sampson is a good pitcher and under team control. He would be a good #3 or #4 in the rotation. Berkman is a susperstar hembo. You dont trade him. A deal for Oswalt would have to cover 3 MLB ready young players ready to step in at 3rd, SS and the rotation plus prospects. It would have to knock our socks off. Why do you hate to say you agree with me? If you agreed with me more you would be right about things more often.

Never said he was the best hembo. He just isnt an "average" player like you profess him to be.

Berky, is doing pretty well this month. Has a 10 game hitting streak, batting .366 with 2 hr and 8 rbi during it. He's raised his average from .244 to .265. His career numbers are .301 ba, 235 hr, and 797 rbi in less than 8 seasons.

T-bone.. Berkman is a top tier guy. You and I both know it. hembo just doesnt like him for some reason. Berkman is having a bad start but will likely end the season where he normally does.

Before I had a fire sale and put everyone but a chosen few on the trading block, I'd get rid of the manager and general manager, else the same sh*t will happen.
