Everett doesnt need to be DFA'd. How long will it take for you to get this?
I guess you would have DFA'd Ozzie Smith?

vega51 that may be so, but he was not going to get it done in Houston and its obvious that they couldn't find a trade for him. So they did what was the right thing to do.

I dont see anyone "protecting the GM". How can a fan "protect" a GM. Personally I think Tim P has been a bad GM. I think Hunsicker was bad also. The state of this franchise on his shoulders also.
So you think the Astros should have offered arbitration to Huff, Clemens and Pettitte? Do you have any clue how much money that would have cost this team?
There is a financial side to this game that you have NEVER understood.

Ensberg was doing better this month FWIW.

Vega, you and hembo just cannot read. I never said Hun was a bad GM. I said that part of the issues of this team happened on his watch and are a result of his moves.
To say anything else is delusional.

He was a good GM, I wouldn't call him the best, but it does seem strange he didn't find another GM job after leaving Houston.

AB, don't lie, he is what you said: Personally I think Tim P has been a bad GM. I think Hunsicker was bad also.
YOU SAID HUN WAS BAD, why are you trying to pick fights all the time when you don't say the truth?
