Lane and Ensberg are both about to be history. I wonder who we are trying to give the Phillies for Michael Bourn??

Burke's a poor fielder, doesn't hit for average and doesn't hit for power. No amount of playing time can change that.

hmmmm, 3 run homer today.
Given 500 at bats he will hit 10-15 homers, lots of doubles, steals and a .270-.280average with a .340-.350 OBP.
I take those numbers but he will not see many at bats this year because they will give the at bts to Biggio instead, DUMB MOVE.

Vega.. you keep saying that about Burke. But the stats dont back it up. He has 880 career at bats and he doesnt have what you say he should. He has been given a shot and is being given another one. He isnt going to be a good player. I wish you could see that.
880 career at bats and he has 17 homers. Not 20-25. It doesnt matter how much time he gets his stats should still be there.
I hope I am wrong. But I just dont see it.
Plus... he is brutal with the glove.
Biggio is and has been a better offensive player than Burke this season.

Yes, you have 880 at bats, BUT NONE COSISTENT PLAY. When he plays consitent baseball he does well like he has done for the past 2 years. When are the AStros going to let this guy play? ? 880 at bats in 4 years in not GOOD, that IS NOT A FULL TIME PLAYER. And biggio, playing REGULAR has an OPS of .675 while Burke's is .662 with NO CONSITENT PLAYING time nor playing AT HIS POSITION.

There's no denying that Burke, at the age of 27 and after about 1000 career plate appearances is hitting only .251/.323/.377. That's pretty unspectacular.
