Losing by 4 he has Lidge pitching 2 innings, so far 28 pitches, do we have the worse manager in baseball? ? Now he brings Mohler after the homer, lmao. wORSE combo in baseball, Garner and Purpura. I think is time to watch a real good young team like AZ instead of 2 idiots ruining the AStros. There are some fans that will look the other way, I WILL NOT.

The team's sucking this year, and it doesn't look good, but I don't think that means that it is time to choose a new team to root for and follow, IMO.
I'll always be an Astro fan, even when they aren't the best team to watch. I'll leave the bandwagon jumping to other people.

Who else was there besides Moehler? And not his fault Lidge is bad. Can't see blaming him for this game.

Lidge shouldn't be pitching 2 innings.

NO way Lidge should have pitched two innings in this game. As for Moehler, I've always wondered why we have this bum taking up a roster spot. He's useless.

Hembo keeps making stupid suggestons, gets his hand called on them, and responds by cursing whoever pointed out that he's a mental midget when it comes to baseball.

Our closer should have never been in this blowout period much less pitching 1.2 innings. I have followed this team for over 40 years, I won't leave them now. This team isn't the worstby far. If you are able to switch allegiance from one team to another, you are a band wagon fan. You support your team good or bad. I've seen plenty bad.
But Vega, if you feel that you want to watch Arizona, don't let the door hit you in the butt on the way out. Just don't show up if they start doing good down the road.

if management does NOT CARE to play young guys or win, then why us fans should watch this pitiful team? ? Like I said, i don't care about watching Biggio hit 3,000 hits, i care about winning OR developing young guys not playing OLD GUYS AND LOSING. I prefer to see the Mariners and Diamnonbacks play over an Astros game, really. Why should i care to watch a game were Woody or Jennings are pitching? Really. Now, if it was Hirsh or Gutierrez, then i would watch that game. Why should i care to watch biggio hit?// Now, if it was Burke or Ash, then i care. Do you see my point? ? I will CONTINUE to follow my team but will NOT WASTE my time with them, really.

Then go watch them Vega.
I hope you understand that what you write isnt making sense. Why do we need to know your baseball watching habits?
Like those people that post threads to announce they are " quiting" or "retiring" from the forum or the internet. Who cares?
You have your opinons and that great. Just quit trying to get the rest of us to beleive what you do and getting pissed when we dont.
Have fun watching your hand picked kids in Arizona and Felix in Seattle. If your favorite players arent on your favorite team then in my humble opinon you are not a fan of your team.

Vega.. there you go again. Lying about what people say. You and hembo have NOTHING else but to spin, change or flat out lie about what people are saying.
I said Berkman was in the same class. In fact I said Berkman may be at the back of the room and Pujols in the front but in the same room. He is. Their career stats prove me correct.
You love small samples. 2007 doesnt invalidate Berkmans 1st 7 years.

they are not in the same class, they are not in the same college.
One is a hall of famer, the other one a very very good player.
