OK. I did not know how Roberto Clemente died. I just looked it up and I do have to agree that he was a great player and an even better man for trying to help the earthquake victims.

Clemente is one of my all time favorites. He was a class act.

Yeah, the more I read the more I like him. Damned shame the way he died.
I was gald to see that the Astros won a series against the Pirates. It is about time that they started playing some of the younger guys to see if they will be able to play on this level. Let's see how this worls the rest of the season and see what if any moves they make during the winter.
