;D speaking of mark cuban...what do people here think of him being a pro baseball owner? you can almost see him charging the field over some bullchit..he and sweet lou would be a sight to see

I dont think the other Owners would allow it to happen. Isn't their some rule on that in Baseball about owning different team in different sports

btw..im sure its only a matter of time before someone questions who has owned two teams....

wayne huizenga owned the marlins(not anymore) and the dolphins
paul allen in addition to being the 3rd or 4th richest he owns the seahawks and supersonics

Uh, no. Paul Allen owns the Seahawks and the TRAILBLAZERS. Some guy in Oklahoma City owns the Supersonics and he is attempting to get out of the lease in Seattle and move them to OKC.

UH... NO Vega.. he wouldnt be, at least not in my eyes. Now I know YOU would think he was the best if he owned the KC Royals or any MLB team since you dislike ALL things associated with the Houston Astros MLB baseball team. But if Cuban was Astros owner you wouldnt like him.

I would love to have Cuban as the owner of the ASStros because i know he will pay to get the best players available and he would not TRY AND GET MONEY letting old guys play just to get money even if that means losing games.
Now, i am SURE you'll say he is the BEST owner in the world IF he gets the ASStros.

Cuban will spend money but he does sometimes make dumb decisions. I DO think that he would be an improvement over McLame though. At least Cuban lets Avery Johnson manage the team unlike McLame who TELLS the manager whom to play. Biggio comes to mind as does Burke and Lane.

Probably, still I would bet that he doesn't TELL him which players to use on a daily basis. I feel for Cecil Cooper next season, but at least he won't have a prima donna on the roster. Except maybe Berkman.
