Cabrerra is not a FA until after the 2009 season. He'll cost a king's ransom in prospets.
The Tigers won't trade Maybin for Lidge. Zero chance.

In other words, you can't answer the question.
How many players currently can match his offensive production (and I mean more than just HR & RBI)?

Hembo.. you can keep saying it, but I NEVER said AROD was done. Everytime you get your little mind backed into a corner you go to the Ensberg/Arod thing. Just because you are too simple minded to understand that in 2005 Ensberg had an AROD type year and was hitting better than AROD in 2005 doesnt mean I think overall for a career Ensberg is better than AROD.
Are you clear about that now? Maybe you can quit bringing it up in every other f**king post of yours?
NOW I will ask you again. Who are ALL THESE players that have Berkman type numbers? That make Berkman just an average MLB player?
Answer the question or shut the f**k up you mindless little twit.

I dont know who that is you just described. It isnt Lance Berkman. Sorry, AB. Hembo just described the 2007 version of Lance Berkman perfectly. He has played with no heart and looks like he's pouting most of the time. Those stunts he pulled with the umpires are costing him because he's not getting the benefit of the doubt on any close pitch.

But thats not what Hembo is saying. If he was only talking about 07 he would get no argument from me. But he is saying Berkman is for his career HO HUM. Which is blatantly false.
Berkman has a higher career OPS and the same OPS+ as hembo man crush AROD.

Berkman has struggled for a loooooooooooong time this year, his average still under .270, OUCH.
Funny thing, we give a lot of money to oswalt and berkman and now BOTH suck.

Funny thing is he was hitting .230 before he started hitting again.
He will end the year with his normal .290-.300, 30 and 100. But thats just ho hum. Everyone in MLB does that.
