im just waiting for the spin to kick in LMAO...This is exactly why i dont even bother...im not going to just say something w/o at least a little cover..i specifically stated 30/100 isnt as rare as some seem to think..Lance berkman is better than average(offense) but he is NOT alone...Plus, if we are getting technical here, most of those guys can play defense as well

All the guys on your list hit .300 , 30 and 100 , 400 OBP , 147 career OPS+

Adam Dunn. He has never come close to hitting .300. He hit .234 in 06 with only 92 RBI's.


Hembo when you want to get serious and do some real research here is what you judge Berkman by.

Berkman has averaged 30 hr's, 100 RBI's, .300 BA, .414 OBP, OPS + 147 ( same as AROD's). That list of yours is sh*t. The only guys on that list that are in the same galaxy as Berkman for their careers are ... Pujols, Arod, Thome.

Vega, it's not like Crede has done very well.

Crede .259 avg /.305 OBP/ .446 SLG
Ensberg .265 avg/.367 OBP/ .475SLG

I'd still take him over Crede. As bad as Morgan's been this year, Crede's been worse.
