Yes.
Last night, after 4 innings i just knew game was over.
Today, after i saw Durham's hit I knew game was over.
Is dull and embarrasing to see this team play day after day.
Lineup is very weak, Purp has not done his job improving the team and is going to be a long year.
Is no fun watching this team, is dull and i see no reason for us to watch the games anymore.

YES...unlike last year these guys have the talent to win..last year they played as well as they could. They just happened to suck. THIS DAMNED TEAM , NOW,HAS WHAT IT TAKES TO WIN and this is from a Dodgers fan. The hell with biggio and everett...Garner and berkman are sinking this team.

They will always be my team. I've followed the Astros since the 60s, I certainly don't plan on changing that now.

Not really, I may lose the level of enthusiasm for the Astros but I will always be interested in them.
Right now, I'm in the "if it's a late game and we are losing by more than a couple of runs, I'm going to get some sleep" mode.

I'm with Chandler, tbone and coach. I could never lose interest.
That is the best way to describe it. Even the late games I will watch until the 5th. If it's close or we are ahead, I will keep watching. But if we are 3 or 4 behind in the 6th, I'm out. Not that we don't have come backs in us but we haven't done that lately so it's easier to go ahead and shut it off. Gives me something to look forward to when I get up.

>:(I lost interest in the ASStros a long time ago. Poopura and Scrap Heap are killing this team. Scrap keeps changing lineups like underwear. ;D Even if he finds a lineup that works, he sits players down just so Lame or Ensberg can get som innings. I just hope that arrogant a-hole Biggio gets to 3000 so they can sit him down and let Burke and Lorreta can get more playing time. However, I do think that Pence will be a really good if not great player assuming he doesn't go blind from not blinking.

Let me tell you why i am losing interest. For 3 years i've been complaining about the moves on this team. 1. They let Kent go. Kent is a very good number 5 hitter for our team, instead we are stuck with Iceberg and Scott. 2. We had a GREAT chance of signing Bengie, instead we signed Ausmus. That gave us one of the worse, IF NOT THE WORSE lineup in baseball. Bengie in our lineup would be a big help hitting 7th. That way we could move a very weak hitter in Everett to 8th. 3. Biggio is killing this team with his offense and defense. 4. Astros did not resigned Pettitte meaning we had to go after a 1 year guy Jennings and trade a cf and 2 starters. 5. By not signing Pettitte we lost on Clemens. This is what our team COULD have been: 1. Taveras cf 2. Ensberg/Lamb 3b 3. Berkman 1b 4. Lee lf 5. Kent 2b 6. Pence rf 7. Bengie Molina c 8. Everett ss 9. Pitcher Rotation: 1. Oswalt 2. Pettitte 3. Clemens 4. Hirsh 5. Wandy/Sampson Plus our relievers Instead? ? 1. Biggio (worse leadoff in baseball?) 2. 3. Berkman 4. Lee 5. Scott (this guy is a bench player and is hitting 5th? ??) 6. Pence (a rf playing cf) 7. Everett (worse hitter in baseball hitting 7th, just recently 8th) 8. Ausmus (another weak hitter) Rotation 1. Oswalt 2. Woody? ??// 3. Wandy? / 4. SAmpson 5. Albers (what the hell is he doing in the majors? With all these dumb moves, how can i be interested in the team??? Management is doing a great job allowing that to happen to FANS that expect A GOOD product in the field.

2. We had a GREAT chance of signing Bengie I'm just curious why you think we had a great chance of signing him. Did you read something that says he wanted to come here and we wouldn't offer him a deal? I never heard anything that says he was interested in Houston. Depends on how you judge the lineup. Going by runs, Arizona, Seattle, White Sox, Pirates, Nationals, and Cardinals have all scored fewer. Personally, I'm going to support my team and be interested in them no matter what. I may not stay up til 1 am to watch the west coast games as often, and I'll gripe and moan about them, but I'll never lose interest in *my* team in the greatest sport around. I'm not a fairweather fan, I'm a-gonna stick with em through thick and thin.

Vega, when did you decide that we should have kept Taveras? You preached for a year that we should get rid of him.

I wish we would have kept him now. It's still early, but he's actually learned how to take a walk this year. His OBP and average are pretty dang good for a leadoff hitter. We'd be better with him in CF and Pence in RF then with Pence in CF and Scott/Lane in RF IMO.

I was against KEEPING Taveras because i thought he could not have a high OBP, now, if he keeps that .380 OBP then is a mistake by the Astros.
To tell you the truth, i think Burke is better than Scott so we are better off with Burke at cf and Pence in RF than Pence in cf and Scott in rf.
About Bengie, I AM SURE he would had signed with the Astros because last year he signed VERY LATE with Toronto, FOR ONLY ONE YEAR because no team was showing interest on him because they all had a catcher. Actually, Toronto had Zaun when they signed Bengie.
If Astros made any kind of deal, especially a 2 or 3 year deal bengie would had gone to the Astros.

Maybe, but I don't think you can say for sure either way. It's quite possible he wouldn't have came here even if they had offered a contract.

Burke has NO business in CF. If you wanted to put Burke at 2nd where he belongs fine, but he really has no business in the OF. Pence may be a corner OF guy, but he is the best option in CF the Astros have and LIGHT YEARS better than Burke was.
Kent.. He chose to leave, the Astros didnt NOT sign him.

no, Kent was left go.
Astros had an option year, they decided against it and then Dodgers signed him for 2 or 3 years.
Astros made a big mistake.
