Arod is a better SS.
Honus Wagner was better. You remember him right?
Jeter is up there. I wont dispute that.
Hembo.. this is where you go off the ranch a bit. Bagwell and Biggio were great HOF players. Just because Jeter is a Yankee doesnt make him better. The Astros have never had a SS who could compare, but Biggio and Bawgell are in the same league as Jeter when it comes to their respective careers. If Biggio, Bagwell or Berkman for that matter played in NY they would be legends.

Arod, at the end will finish first in homers, .300 average, steals, BEST EVER AS SS.

Biggio is a legend nowhere but Houston.
As for Adam Dunn, I wouldn't trade much for him because we can sign him when he becomes a FA. Sign a guy for one year until Dunn is available. No way would I pay Dunn $18 million a year. Lee makes $16 million and Berkman makes $14 million and Dunn isn't worth as much as either of them. He is from New Caney and will sign with Houston if the negotiations aren't bungled by some bozo.
BTW, AB.......it is no sure thing that Bagwell will make the HOF.

i see what you guys are saying but people dont have to play in NY to be legends..people have heard of aaron, mays, rose, cobb etc....i dont think any of them played in NY..ab made it seem as though legend status has to run through NY or its not going to happen

So that's why he's been getting standing ovations on the road this year?

Mays began and ended his career playing for a NY team.

Jeter isn't close to being the best at his position on the All-time list. Dave Concepcion was a much better all around player than Jeter. Ozzie Smith was much better with the glove. Hell, Adam Everett is better with the glove than Jeter. He would have been moved to third when the Yanks got ARod if he hadn't whined about it.

JB.. I dont know where Vega got his $18 million figure. But Dunn isnt getting $18 million.
I too expect him to sign with the Astros if he is a FA.
