But he has 7 homers in 281 at bats. He is a nice young player. He has 8 homers in 373 At bats. He will probably have 15-20 homer power. OBP under .350, average .275 or so.
Like I said... Nice player.
Nothing great from him yet.
His OPS is only .758
For reference.. Pence has a .939

how old is tulo and how old is pence.
look at walk totals from both players.
again, look at age.
Look at position, i take a SS over an OF ANY DAY.
and no, he will hit 30 homers as a SS in the future, plus, he was a pitcher, GREAT ARM AT SS.
Again, 3 hits, 5 at bats, 8 homers, 6 in last 90 at bats, steal bases, good defense.
They have a very goooooooooooooood SS outhere.

Pence is barely 24, Tulowitzki is close to 23..lol not that big of a difference.

pence is 24, tulo 22.
Tulo has played only 1 1/2 year of minor league.
Tulo is even playing a lot better than Drew (AZ)

I like both but i would take the SS with the big bat.
We don't have any SS in the minors, we have good OFers in the minors, Flores, Einertson, Iorg.
I like Pence a lot, he is a future All Star, but Tulo will be an All star also.
I take the SS over the OFer.

Tulo is alot better hitter than Everett. It is foolish to compare him to Pence.
Would I trade Tulo for Pence. NO WAY.
Thats just it Vega.. he isnt a big hitting SS. He has a nice bat, but to say he is "big hitting" is just dead wrong.

Well, if that SS had a big bat, then I might agree, but right now he doesn't have that big bat.
That 1.5 years difference in age doesn't really cover the 200 point difference in OPS.
