OK.. so do you guys want players to tell the truth or not?? You cant have it both ways. You want fired up guys but when someone stands up and does it, you trash him for it. JB loves Wagner for standing up to Drayton. But says Berkman should shut up.

oh, ok ab, i guess i was confused..my bad.. Yes, all players should in fact be role models. Thats the REAL motive behind an owner signing someone to a 100 mil contract. Who gives a sh*t about performance..."hey he isnt worth a sh*t on the field, but he sure is the role model and plays a mean good guy in the clubhouse,yo' thats what wins championships...deadweight like bagwell and biggio hanging on and hanging on when they're no longer good. mccalne paid these guys to be popular didnt ya know...

nobody mentioned the fact Ted Williams and carl yaz use to get beer and all sorts of stuff thrown on them...people spit at carl yaz..ty cobb wasnt real popular either..tris speaker had a way of rubbing fans wrong too..barry bonds and jeff kent cant do sh*t without people pelting them with f**king dome dogs...you dont get it ab..you just dont get it..how many championships did the people i mention win? just because they didnt win much, does that mean those guys sucked? History has a way of remembering what these guys did on the field..what they are paid to do and nobody did it better in their days
its not always about being the popular guy...i dont think a team should make all out efforts to get a sour apple but if someone has an opportunity to get arod do you think they will pass? If arod said he wanted to play here do you honestly believe they would pass? They would trade any player on the team(outside maybe oswalt)
The facts are what i have already said..despite his off the field exploits(which only people like you care about) he is a great player
I would rather have a ted williams, kent bonds lineup as opposed to a bagwell, biggio brad ausmus deal ;D

Yes, Drayton would pass.
Arod is one of the most selfish players.
Then you go take that Williams, Kent, Bonds lineup. Thats your choice. I have nothing against Williams, but Kent and Bonds? No way I want Bonds on my team.

JB loves Wagner for standing up to Drayton. But says Berkman should shut up. Once again, AB shows that he can't read. Since when is what Berkman did "standing up to Drayton"? Wagner said the Astros would have been in the playoffs if Drayton had given them the money to get the starting pitcher they needed. They finished ONE game out of the playoffs. All Berkman did was whine about Burke being sent to Round Rock. How are those two situations alike?

They are exactly alike. How are they not? Complaining about the team is complaining about the team. Burke shouldnt have been sent down when you have OP and Lane on the roster.
