The Astros have more career .212 hitters than .312 hitters.

not to get into this fight, but Vega did say "lifetime'... Ok, so it's 7 more hits per season over the lifetime. The difference between .312 & .301 is .011, or 1.1%.

as usual ab comes in with a petty and run...who said they were not comparable?(vlad and berkman) once again vlad is better ALL AROUND TO deny this is,well, a lesson from the jb book of knowledge(see the gwynn manny argument)

Anyone who knows baseball knows that Tony Gwynn was a better pure hitter than Manny Ramirez. From the Hembo book of knowledge, we learn that you should bench the best shortstop in the league and that ARod is the greatest player of all-time, even though a team he has played on has never won sh*t and all have improved after he left.

A petty and run??? I have no idea what you mean by that.. Vega said he wasnt comparable you idiot. Read the thread.
I never mentioned OVERALL. You did. I was only talking about them as hitters. No where will you find that I said Berkman is a great defender. This debate always has been about HITTING. Its you that plays the OVERALL card.
